About Xerox Research Center India
Xerox Research Center India (XRCI) explores, develops and incubates innovative solutions and services for Xerox’s global customers, with a special focus on emerging markets.

Researchers at XRCI work on technologies such as data analytics, mobile and distributed computing, and human computer interaction  to develop innovative services and service delivery models aimed at Xerox’s document management and business process businesses. Researchers also leverage Xerox’s established expertise in imaging, document management and ethnography to explore, develop and incubate unique solutions for challenges inspired by emerging market needs and opportunities.

XRCI’s current research initiatives include consumer-centric healthcare, urban mobility, automation of customer care, personalized education, and human resource optimizations. Specific research projects include prediction of medical complications, non-invasive screening for diseases, enabling ride sharing, optimization of public transportation, real-time speech and emotion recognition, graph based analytics frameworks, mobile sensing and crowdsourcing.

Our researchers actively publish papers in selective international conferences and journals, and have been receiving external honours, such as best paper and thesis awards.
