Acing Technical Interviews
Thursday, March 17, 2016

6:30-8:30 p.m.
Schwada Classroom Office Building (SCOB) 105, Tempe campus [map]

The “Acing a Technical Interview” will be presented by Jessica Egoyibo Mong, software engineer at SurveyMonkey.  Jessica is a fullstack developer on the Billing team at SurveyMonkey. This is unique because Egoyibo means “Foreign money” and the Billing team is where the money comes through. Jessica is from Nigeria and received a B.S from Claflin University in South Carolina in 2014. She is a 2014 White House Initiative on HBCUs All-Star, and an alumna of CODE2040 and Hackbright Academy.  Follow her on twitter on @JEMificent.

This session will give a great overview on how to best prepare your resume and for an interview when applying for technical positions.  Being prepared and ready for these types of positions will assist in creating an entryway into top tech companies.

Jessica Egoyibo Mong will then be giving a motivational talk along with a meet and greet luncheon as she speaks on her path to the technology industry the following day.
