Are you passionate about serving your community? Apply for the ASU Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Servant-Leadership Award.

Servant-leadership supports the people who choose to serve first. Though these servant-leaders may or may not hold formal leadership positions, they encourage collaboration, trust, foresight and ethical use of power and empowerment.

If you are enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate (and will be in the spring 2019 semester) and exemplify these ideals of servant-leadership, now is the time to be recognized.

Submit your résumé along with this form by Monday, October 1, 2018, to Michelle Johnson at mmjcap@asu.edu. You may also submit letters of recommendation if you so choose, but please no more than two.

Three finalists will be selected to have 30-minute interviews with the committee on the morning of Friday, October 12, 2018.

The awardee will receive a $1,500 scholarship to the awardee to be used towards their educational costs. If you are selected, you must be able to attend the MLK breakfast on Thursday, January 24, 2018.
