Are you passionate about serving your community? Apply for the ASU Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Servant-Leadership Award.
Servant-leadership supports the people who choose to serve first. Though these servant-leaders may or may not hold formal leadership positions, they encourage collaboration, trust, foresight and ethical use of power and empowerment.
If you are enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate (and will be in the spring 2019 semester) and exemplify these ideals of servant-leadership, now is the time to be recognized.
Three finalists will be selected to have 30-minute interviews with the committee on the morning of Friday, October 12, 2018.
The awardee will receive a $1,500 scholarship to the awardee to be used towards their educational costs. If you are selected, you must be able to attend the MLK breakfast on Thursday, January 24, 2018.Learn more about submissions and the 2019 MLK Celebration.
