Helios Rocketry is the official ASU team competing to win the Base11 Space Challenge  a $1 million dollar competition for the first student-led team that designs, builds and launches a liquid-propelled, single-stage rocket to an altitude of 100 km.Helios Rocketry photo

The team is setting the foundation and creating a permanent place for students to lead the research and development of liquid-propelled rockets capable of reaching space and gain the skills and experiences NewSpace Companies(i.e SpaceX, Blue Origin etc.) are looking for.

There will be an information session on September 18, 2019, from 5:30–7 p.m at Student Pavilion (Tempe Campus) 121A. Learn more about the team, roles available on the team and the Base11 Space Challenge!
