Ben is a Product Development Manager at Andersen Corporation, where he leads design teams in the development of innovative window and door products, including leveraging human-centric design, working from concept to commercialization and investigating latent customer and market needs.
Ben has worked in research and development for 16 years, nine of those with Andersen. He has been leading technical teams for 12 years. Ben has a Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt, holds bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry, and has a master’s in chemical engineering. Ben holds five patents and one trade secret, leads Andersen’s Rotational Development Program for new design team members and is an active volunteer in many community outreach initiatives, including STEM outreach, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and Valley Outreach Food Shelf.
Ben enjoys may outdoor activities in and around the state of Minnesota, including fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking, various sports and gardening. He also enjoys home projects, grilling, relaxing and just spending time with his wife and two daughters.
