Join ASU’s iGEM team

Are you looking for a summer research/learning opportunity? Consider joining ASU’s iGEM team! iGEM — International Genetically Engineered Machine — is a globally recognized synthetic biology competition that is highly interdisciplinary and relies on the combined efforts of many students from different backgrounds in order to produce a thorough and well-rounded project. Last year’s team won a gold medal and received coverage in ASU News and KJZZ.

We are currently looking for students who are interested in:

  • Biological sciences, including biochemistry, chemistry and biophysics.
  • Web development, video production and graphic design.
  • Physical prototyping, learning about lab work and the social aspects of research.
