Support the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering Blood Drive, February 23

Giving blood is one of the easiest ways for human beings to help each other out, but the number of donors is decreasing while demand is on the rise. To help combat the need in our local community, the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, along with Valiant, will be holding its annual blood drive on Wednesday, February 23, 2022

The entire engineering community is welcome.

Since 2017, Valiant and ECEE’s partnership recruited more than 100 donors and saved more than 300 lives. As the drive enters its sixth year, enlisting participants will once again be a focus, but educating faculty, staff and students about being good blood citizens is a top priority as well. One-time donations will always be needed and welcomed, but getting people to recognize the importance of regular donations is becoming critical. Many current regular donors are aging out or disqualified due to medical issues, making younger, healthier donors the lifeline of any blood donation program moving forward.
