A hackathon is an innovation sprint where teams come together to create solutions and/or prototype ideas that may help build a future. This virtual event is an opportunity for you to innovate, experiment and collaborate with other ASU students, faculty and Starbucks Technology professionals as you ideate on real-world issues that impact Starbucks customers, business and partners (employees).

This hack is a five-day event that starts on Monday, March 7, 2022, and will be focused on creating solutions for the Starbucks third place concept. Former Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, described Starbucks as “a third place between home and work, an extension between people’s lives, at a time when people have no place to go.”
