Register to participate in the biggest Women in Computer Science (WiCS) event of the year!

Every current ASU student, regardless of gender, is invited to participate in the 17th Annual WiCS Programming Competition hosted by WiCS at ASU. Come solve programming challenges, connect with sponsors, and win prizes based on your speed and correctness.

WiCS 2022 Programming Competition
Saturday, March 19, 2022
8 a.m.–3 p.m.
Brickyard (BYENG) 210 and 214, Tempe campus [map] and Artisan Court at the Brickyard (BYAC) 110, Tempe campus [map] 
Register as a team by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022!

Registration is first come, first served — WiCS will be accepting approximately the first 60 people who apply (capped at the last team that includes the 60th applicant). Learn more about the agenda, rules and application process.

Prizes for top overall, top two underclassmen, top female/non-binary, as well as a raffle. Prizes include a Nintendo Switch, GoPro Hero, Samsung Smart TV, Polaroid and more!

As always, there will be free lunch, t-shirts, and swag!

Don’t want to compete, but still want to help out? Sign up as a volunteer by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Schedule:

  • 8 a.m. — Judges check-in in front of BYENG 210 (Up the stairs, second floor of BYENG)
  • 8:30 a.m. — Opening Ceremony at BYENG 210
  • 9 a.m. — Competition begins at BYENG Lab Room 214
  • Noon — Competition ends, lunch begins at BYAC 110
  • 1 p.m. — Closing Ceremony at BYAC 110
  • 1:30 p.m. — Reception at BYAC 110
  • 2:30 p.m. — Official wrap-up
