The ability to engage, live and work in a global community is an important requirement for engineering professionals. In our global society, successful engineers must combine technical expertise with an understanding of how professionals in different cultures define problems and develop solutions. As such, individuals working in engineering must be equipped with the right skills and competencies to successfully interact across cultures. It is essential for engineers to obtain intercultural competencies to be even more successful in these intercultural settings. Come and attend this 30-minute workshop to learn more about your own understanding of intercultural competence to collaborate with others who intend to work both within and outside of the US.
