One of only about 20 programs like it in the country, the engineering education systems and design, or EESD, doctoral program at ASU is reinventing engineering learning, teaching and application.

Join us for the 2022 EESD Virtual Open House on Wednesday, November 9, 2022m to learn how you can become an exemplary scholar dedicated to transforming the engineering education ecosystem.

Activities will include getting to know ASU and the EESD program; meeting faculty, current students and alumni; and learning about research opportunities that ASU offers.

The EESD program prepares graduates for careers in higher education, science centers, government agencies, museums, policy-setting institutions and industry.

“The open house affords prospective students with an opportunity to hear about the program through the voices of those who organize the program,” says Adam Carberry, the engineering education systems and design program chair and associate professor of engineering. “They have opportunities to engage with faculty and current students to get a sense of the culture and place.”

Attendees can also schedule one-on-one time with faculty and students to help determine if the program is a good fit for their interests and long-term career goals.

To register for the open house visit the engineering education systems and design open house webpage.
