Become a mentor and join the I AM mentor program
Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you have the desire to create meaningful connections and support others on their journey? If so, the Inclusive Achievement of Mastery, or I AM, mentoring program at Arizona State University needs you! The I AM Mentor Program is looking for Fulton Schools students interested in mentoring students with disabilities registered with ASU’s Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services.
As a mentor, you will have the unique opportunity to guide, support and inspire mentees, helping them to navigate their academic and personal challenges.
The time commitment varies depending on the relationship you develop with your mentee. Schedules can be busy, so flexibility is offered to ensure that mentoring fits into your life.
Benefits of becoming a mentor:
- Volunteer work: Give back to the community and make a lasting impact on someone’s life.
- Meaningful connections: Build strong, lasting relationships with your mentees, fellow mentors and the university community.
- Personal growth: Enhance your leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please complete the I AM Mentoring – Mentor Interest Form. Mentors from all backgrounds and experiences are welcome to contribute to the diverse and enriching environment of the I AM Mentoring program.
