Celebrate IEEE Day with ASU, Oct. 7

IEEE Day

Celebrate IEEE Day with the IEEE Student Branch at ASU.

In 1884, engineers worldwide gathered to share their technical ideas for the first time in history. This is the day that we now celebrate annually as IEEE Day! With one of its main objectives being to highlight how engineers and technologists come together in their local communities to collaborate, innovate and use technology to make a positive impact, IEEE Day is a great chance for you to see how you can get involved and make your own impact.

At this year’s celebration, you’ll get to hear from leaders across the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, or IEEE, including the IEEE Phoenix Section chair, a representative from IEEE-USA, ASU faculty members and industry professionals. They will share how the IEEE can help you thrive as a student and young professional by helping you navigate career development, mentorship and the resources available. This is your opportunity to network with industry members and explore how the IEEE can empower your academic and professional journey.

Come join the IEEE Student Branch at ASU to celebrate and discover what being part of the world’s largest technical professional organization is all about!
