Submit your paper for the EAI SmartGIFT conference by March 10

Arizona State University Tempe campus

EAI, the world’s largest open information and communications technology society, is now accepting paper submissions for the 10th EAI International Conference on Smart Grid and Innovative Frontiers in Telecommunications, or SmartGIFT, hosted in Tempe, Arizona, Nov. 12–13, 2026.

SmartGIFT 2026 is dedicated to the intersection of smart grids and telecommunications. The smart grid is the next generation electrical grid, which will enable the smart integration of conventional, renewable and distributed power generation, energy storage, transmission, distribution and demand management. The benefits of smart grids include enhanced reliability and resilience, higher intelligence and optimized control, decentralized operation, higher operational efficiency, more efficient demand management, and better power quality. However, the large-scale deployment of smart grids without proper utilization can cause a new dimension of threats, particularly in critical infrastructure that is highly dependent on the availability of electricity.

Fulton Schools students are encouraged to submit papers and join EAI and Springer in November for this premier conference.
