The Clean Room Standard Operating Procedures and Fundamentals microcredential introduces you to one of the most critical environments in advanced manufacturing. In this 10-hour, hands-on course, you’ll learn how cleanrooms operate and why precision, discipline and contamination control are essential across industries like semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology and medical devices .

Through guided sessions at the Polytechnic campus, participants will gain practical experience in:

  • Cleanroom gowning techniques.
  • Contamination control practices.
  • Entry and exit protocols.
  • Tool and material handling.

No prior experience is required, making this an excellent starting point for students interested in technical or manufacturing careers. By the end of the course, you’ll have the foundational knowledge and confidence to begin working in a cleanroom setting.

The course costs $25 for ASU students.
