Enroll in FSE 302 Applied Innovation in Corporate Technology for fall 2026

Looking for a technical elective that prepares you for today’s corporate engineering environment? FSE 302 Applied Innovation in Corporate Technology is open for fall 2026 enrollment and is an excellent upper-division elective for undergraduate engineering students, including online scholars participating in the ASU Starbucks College Achievement Plan.
In this course, you’ll learn how innovation is developed and implemented within large corporations. Through real-world case studies and human-centered design approaches, you’ll explore how technology professionals identify opportunities, solve business challenges and create value. You’ll also gain experience with business modeling and data-driven decision-making — skills that can help you stand out when pursuing internships, full-time positions or career advancement.
Course details
- Available every fall and spring (15-week C session).
- Offered in online and internet-hybrid formats.
- Internet-hybrid students will attend several in-person class meetings during the semester (meeting dates will be shared by the instructor).
- Counts as a three-credit technical elective for most engineering majors.
