Explore PhD opportunities in signal processing and communications at ASU, Sept. 10

How do we extract, communicate and act on information from complex physical and data systems?
For prospective doctoral students interested in designing the future of communication networks and intelligent systems, the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University offers opportunities to conduct doctoral research at the forefront of electrical engineering. This research area brings together 20 faculty working across signal processing, communications, information theory, machine learning, optimization, networks, sensing, imaging, health, security, autonomy, wireless systems and NextG/6G technologies.
This webinar will be hosted by Gautam Dasarathy, associate professor in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, part of the Fulton Schools at ASU. His research lies at the intersection of machine learning, statistics, information processing and networked systems. Much of his work focuses on interactive learning — algorithms that not only learn from data but also decide what data to collect next.
During the webinar, attendees will learn about:
- Core facilities, labs and unique capabilities.
- Industry and government collaborators.
- Research opportunities.
- Research thrusts: theory and foundations, algorithms and methods, platforms and testbeds and applications including: wireless networks, autonomous sensing, health diagnostics, secure AI, semiconductor data, intelligent systems and more.
