Apply to do funded research through FURI and MORE for spring 2027, apply by Oct. 14

The Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative, or FURI, and the Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering, or MORE, give Fulton Schools students the opportunity to pursue funded research under faculty mentorship, explore their interests and strengthen problem-solving and communication skills.

They also present a chance to gain on-campus employment, expand your network, develop technical skills and add a standout experience to your resume that prepares you for graduate school or industry.

FURI and MORE participants receive a $1,500 stipend upon project completion and up to $400 in supply funding to support their research.

Undergraduate and graduate students from all Fulton Schools majors are encouraged to apply by Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at 5 p.m. through the FURI portal and MORE portal respectively.
