Volunteer at Girls Make-A-Thon, October 20

Are you interested in shaping the next generation of female engineers? Join the Fulton Schools of Engineering K-12 Engineering Education and Outreach team at the 2018 Girls Make-A-Thon event for high school students! We need volunteers to assist with coordination of the day including workshop room hosts, maker challenge participants and more.

Girls Make-A-Thon
Saturday, October 20, 2018
9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Workshops will take place from 10:30 a.m.–noon. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

As an Academic Year Tutor, you will tutor previous JBMSHP participants in topics ranging from pre-calculus to upper division math, physics, chemistry and potentially engineering courses. They are looking for someone to work 10–15 hours per week.

If you are in good academic standing, sophomore status or above, have passed MAT 170 through MAT 275 and have prior tutoring or teaching experienced, you might be an ideal candidate! Find the full qualifications through the ASU Student Employment portal search, with the Req ID 43145BR.
