Applications are now being accepted for the Fulton Schools Study Abroad Scholarship for the summer and fall 2020 semesters! Scholarships in the amount of $500-$1,000 will be awarded to eligible students participating in an ASU Study Abroad program.
To be eligible for a Fulton Schools Study Abroad Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled and participating in an undergraduate Fulton Schools undergraduate academic plan
- Minimum cumulative ASU GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Financial need preferred (according to the FAFSA)
- Apply to one of the study abroad programs listed on the ASU Study Abroad website
- Preference for Fulton Schools exchange, faculty-directed programs and Global Intensive programs
Scholarships will be awarded once students have been accepted and have confirmed enrollment into an ASU study abroad program. Your completed application must be submitted by the respective application period: Saturday, February 1, 2020. Please contact Kae.Sawyer@asu.edu with questions.

Peer mentors provide first-year students with referrals to academic resources across campus, host events to ensure new students feel connected to the Fulton Schools, and guide first-year students through the transition to ASU.

Join us for our last speaker series event of the semester!
In partnership with the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN), the Grand Challenge Scholars Program (GCSP) at Arizona State University (ASU) invite you to an engaging speaker series, focusing on the fourteen Grand Challenges for Engineering in the 21st Century and applying an entrepreneurial mindset. Esteemed speakers from across the nation will come to ASU to share their expertise in their field, discuss the grand challenges our world faces, and answer probing questions on what can be done.
Do you want to develop your communication skills, leadership abilities and a working relationship with a faculty member? Become an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant(UGTA) or Section Leader this spring!

At this semi-annual poster presentation, students in FURI, the Grand Challenge Scholars Program and the Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering program as well as students funded by the ASU Kern Project and travel grants present their research and share their findings with peers, the ASU community and the community at large.
Attendees can also enter a raffle for FURI swag by talking with students!
Attend a special Make It Happen guest lecture with Ryan Taylor, CEO of Dash Digital Cash, November 6
Attend this special Make It Happen session to meet Ryan Taylor, an ASU alumni who is the CEO of Dash, a leading digital cash (cryptocurrency) company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Ryan will give a short talk about “Why We Trust, and How To Develop it in Your Career” and then answer all of your crypto-questions. Don’t miss out!
Join the next Devils Invent event, a weekend long design-challenge! Work in teams with other students to solve a problem statement and build a prototype.
In the second Devils Invent for the year, work with mentors from local Arizona school districts to solve a problem affecting grades 9–12. We’ll have all the tools you need to build!
