Important updates to the Fulton Schools Convocation ceremony, May 12

Decorated mortarboardPresident Crow has announced that ASU’s commencement will be held online. All college convocations will also be pre-recorded and presented online. Students graduating this semester will be offered the opportunity to walk in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 ceremonies. Special interest convocations will be held in December 2020 or May 2021.

A new registration form was sent to all graduating students on Monday, April 6, 2020. You must register or re-register for Convocation.

Apply for undergraduate research funding with FURI by May 1 — deadline extended!

Enhance your engineering and technical undergraduate and graduate curriculum by getting hands-on lab experience, independent and thesis-based research and the opportunity to travel to professional conferences! Applications are now open for Summer 2020, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 programs.

Undergraduate students can apply to the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative, known as FURI.

Graduate students can apply to the Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering or MORE program.

Students in FURI and MORE develop an idea under the mentorship of a Fulton Schools faculty member, then apply for funding. Once accepted, they perform research, attend workshops, prepare research summaries, and participate in the research symposium.

Apply to FURI by noon on Friday, May 1, 2020 — deadline extended!
