COAR logoCommunity Outreach and Advocacy for Refugees (COAR) is a student organization that focuses on supporting refugees in the local area.

Twice per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.), we tutor refugee students in a range of grades at David Crockett Elementary School. We reinforce what they learn in school by tutoring them in subjects such as math, reading, and writing!

We also lead group activities and we play fun, educational games with the students to make tutoring as enjoyable and productive as possible!

Engineers Without Borders ASU is a Fulton Schools Organization where engineering students get to work on real-world projects that help communities around the world while being guided by professors and professional engineers. The club is hosting a fundraiser event at the Chipotle on Mill Avenue (1038 S Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281) to help raise money for a project bringing clean water to a village in Kenya, so come by on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 anytime between 59 p.m. and mention Engineers Without Borders to the cashier to help their project!

The Alka Rocket Challenge is a new inter-university competition to build rockets powered only by Alka-Seltzer tablets. The Fulton Schools team, Sun Devil Alka Rocketeers, placed 11th last year. The team needs your help to get to the finals this year with a goal of 10,000 votes!

Compete in the Sun Devil Smackdown Robotics Competition in February 2020!

The Sun Devil Robotics Club is excited to be hosting the inaugural Sun Devil Smackdown a combat robotics competition on Saturday, February 22, 2020, during the Night of the Open Door.

The club is looking to get 16 teams from ASU and local high schools to sign up for the competition by the start of the New Year. Robots that are competing must be 3 lbs or less.
