Finals — Joyce’s Career Tip of the Week

A certain air of quiet and solemnity occurs on campus two times each year. Those of us who have been on campus for several (or many) years recognize this as the normalcy of final examination weeks.

Academic performance is one of the most important factors employers consider when hiring technical talent. I hope that you have been keeping up with your assignments all semester and that you are feeling confident and ready for whatever your professors may ask. Even if you have been on top of everything, I am sure that final projects and exam preparation are your top priorities this week.

Therefore, I am going to keep this article short and will not be offended — even if you don’t read it until all of your work for this semester is finished.

If you are still looking for a job after graduation, a summer internship or would like to learn more about what will be expected of you when you enter the workplace, save the date for our Job/Internship Seekers’ Career Conference on Thursday, December 14, 2017

The Fulton Schools Career Center and ASU’s Career and Professional Development Services office will be open over the break. You can schedule an appointment through Handshake.

Wishing a successful finish for the Fall 2017 semester to all of you!
