You will be a member of the Ericsson ASIC Design Team based in Austin, Texas. The ASIC design organization covers a wide spectrum of disciplines across two teams, Digital ASIC Front End (DAF) and Digital ASIC Back End (COT). DAF focuses on Architecture, Register Transfer Language (RTL), Design Verification (DV), and System Validation, while COT is focused on physical design (PD) of IP/SOC, CAD Methodology, and Test and product engineering. Together, they design and build 5G Radio and Baseband ASICs to power next-generation communication across the globe.

Ericsson Austin fosters a culture of empowerment, development and collaboration between all teams. This role is part of the rotation program, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to projects in both RTL design/verification/validation (DAF) and Silicon Design (COT). The program will expose you to all aspects of ASIC design, working closely with technical mentors on key products in their roadmap. You will:

Write and verify functionality of RTL.
Transform specification from RTL to silicon CMOS circuitry.
Analyze and optimize circuits implemented using advanced process nodes.
Use state of the art EDA technology for designing and verifying ASICs.
Partner with engineers across multiple disciplines on cross functional initiatives.
