Apply for Summer Research Initiative by Feb. 1

Students show off their research on their posters.

The Fulton Schools offers summer research opportunities for qualified students to gain engineering research experience and acquire an in-depth understanding of what it would be like to pursue a doctoral degree through an eight-week summer research program. Eligible U.S. citizens, permanent residents and ASU-sponsored F1/J1 visa students receive a $5,000 stipend plus on-campus housing and some living expenses.

Students between their junior and senior years of their undergraduate degree, and those pursuing master’s degrees who are considering pursuing a doctorate, will be given the highest consideration. Participants work under the mentorship of research faculty and have opportunities to network with industry partners, other faculty and their peers through a variety of events and activities. Tentative program dates for Summer 2024 are Tuesday, May 28, 2024, to Friday, July 19, 2024, and subject to change.

Applications are now open and close Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. Apply today.
