Get the recognition you deserve!

Both undergraduate and graduate students planning to attend the Fulton Schools Convocation can apply to be considered for graduation awards such as graduation speaker, the Fulton Impact Awards and the SCAI Award (for graduate students).

Apply to these convocation awards by Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024. Please see the award criteria below.

Award criteria

Outstanding Graduates by Major (undergraduate only):

  • Have a minimum ASU GPA of 3.4.
  • Attend Engineering Convocation. Student must register to attend.
  • Evidence of participation in Fulton Schools and/or major-specific student engagement opportunities.
  • Community activities considered.

Impact Award (undergraduate and graduate students may be nominated):

  • Have a minimum ASU GPA of 3.25.
  • Attend Engineering Convocation. Student must RSVP.
  • Evidence of impact towards the Fulton Difference or other university leadership roles.
  • Community activities considered.

Graduate Speaker (undergraduate or graduate students may be nominated):

  • Have a minimum ASU GPA of 3.25.
  • Attend Engineering Convocation. Student must register to attend.
  • Evidence of participation in Fulton student engagement activities.
  • Community activities considered.
  • Excellent communication skills (demonstrated by a one-minute video outlining why you should be selected as speaker that must be submitted along with the rest of the packet listed above).

SCAI Award: Outstanding MS Thesis and PhD Graduate by program (can be graduates from summer 2023, fall 2023 and spring 2024):

  • Have a minimum ASU GPA of 3.5.
  • Upload CV.
  • Upload list of publications.
  • Faculty recommendation.
