Learn about environmental and sustainable development in Shanghai this summer, apply by May 30

Fulton Schools students are invited to participate in a ten-day summer workshop on environmental science and engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai, China.

Workshop topics include co-processing of sewage wastewater and carbon pollution, solid waste resourcing and recycling, risk control of new environmental pollutants, climate change response, carbon neutrality and other topics. Workshops will be delivered by ASU Regents Professor Bruce Rittmann and distinguished faculty from Tongji University. 

All participants must secure a Chinese visa to participate in this program. Students are responsible for their airfare and visa fees. Accommodation, meals and program fees are covered by Tongji University.

The application to the environmental and sustainable development summer program at Tongji University is now closed. The program runs June 27, 2025–July 6, 2025.
