Are you curious to see what graduating students created for their capstone projects while being mentored by industry professionals from Phoenix-area firms?

Come to the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, or SSEBE, spring 2026 Capstone Project Showcase, a free event that is open to the public. Free food and refreshments will be available too.

Student teams from the senior design class in civil, construction and environmental engineering will discuss their capstone design projects, present their posters and answer questions at this event.

Industry professionals, students’ families and friends, faculty members, staff and students are encouraged to attend.

Save the date for this opportunity to learn about the student teams’ real-world projects that are similar to those that they will engage in during their careers.

The SSEBE Capstone Project Showcase is sponsored by the Friends of Civil and Environmental Engineering, or FOCE2.

For the past 26 years, FOCE2 members and other industry partners have worked with SSEBE faculty members to bridge the gap between the classroom and workplace as they interact with students throughout the year, mentor student teams and create internship opportunities for our students.
