Explore renewable energy storage challenges with Ryan Milcarek, Oct. 14

A solar panel in a green field with a big blue sky filled with clouds in the background.

How much energy storage is needed when wind and solar generation remain low for several days?

Join Ryan Milcarek, an associate professor in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy, or SEMTE, for an interactive webinar examining how these multi-day events affect energy storage capacity, grid reliability and renewable generation siting.

Using historical grid-load and weather data, Milcarek will present results from Arizona, the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A following the presentation.
