Attend one of two events to see how students would solve problems related to sustainability, health, security and joy of living. As part of their “Futuristic Solutions for the Grand Challenges” projects, students will present their solutions through models and posters.
The Fulton Schools Graduate Fellowship Portal is now open for the 2024–25 academic year. Last year, the Fulton Schools awarded more than 400 institutional and private fellowships to our graduate-level students. Shake up your summer by applying to the Summer 2024 undergraduate internships at the Statewide California Earthquake Center, or SCEC. Since 1994, SCEC internships have supported impactful research experiences of more than 700 undergraduate students who worked with SCEC scientists on a broad range of earthquake science projects, including paleoseismic field investigations, 3D fault mapping, ground motion simulations, other high-performance computing applications, hazard analysis and educational products.
Join a team at Devils Invent: DASSH: Cascading Events to tackle challenges inspired by cascading events, unleashing creativity to address the dynamic and interconnected nature of problems in today’s fast-paced environment. This event is sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security and will take place on the weekend of Feb. 23–25.
