Academic Integrity Office tips for students: Learning from your mistakes
One tip for dealing with a bad week is to be committed to learning from your mistakes. Once you see both your assignment successes, and failures, as opportunities to improve your personal learning system, it’s a game changer. At the end of each week, think about the study habits that worked well for you and those that didn’t.

Q and A: Obtaining a tenure-track engineering faculty position
While pursuing a doctoral degree in engineering takes years of discipline, research and learning, those who remain dedicated and graduate gain a variety of opportunities. After making new discoveries through research and learning under a doctoral degree mentor, new graduates then need to decide what direction to take their career.
One such option for those interested in a career in academia is conducting research and working at a university through a tenure-track position. Teaching the next generation of engineers while making new discoveries through one of these jobs is exactly what Anwarul Sifat did.

Academic Integrity Office tips for students: Following instructions
Following instructions does not mean letting go of your creativity, but it does mean that every exam, assignment, or class/job project has a set of parameters or regulations that must be followed.

The FURI Symposium is now the Fulton Forge Student Research Expo
The students you meet at the Fulton Forge Student Research Expo are the same as those who participated in the FURI Symposium in past semesters. They have conducted independent research under the guidance of a faculty mentor and present the findings of their work with the community at a semiannual poster session open to the public. These projects are inspired by real-world problems in need of innovative solutions.
