The Regents’ Cup is an annual event hosted by the Arizona Board of Regents. It is a debate and storytelling event that brings together teams from Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona for a day-long tournament.

Three Arizona State University students brought home top honors from HackHarvard 2025, one of the nation’s most competitive college hackathons. Computer science undergraduate students Pratham Hegde, Tushar Sachan and Tejas Gupta captured first place in the 3D Vision for Climate: Coolant’s Sustainability Challenge Track for their project, CarbonCompass — a tool powered by artificial intelligence, or AI, that helps entrepreneurs choose business locations with both profit and the planet in mind.

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, or KFUPM, in collaboration with Google Cloud, has launched the Intelligent Planet Hackathon — a global competition inviting students to create AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges using Gemini, Vertex AI and Google Cloud technologies.

It’s time for the annual Polytechnic Car Show at ASU! Held during Family Weekend, this exciting event showcases a diverse lineup of classic cars, custom builds and innovative student projects.

Google and ASU Enterprise Technology invite ASU students with experience in computer science to compete in the Cyber 360° Spark Challenge and innovate solutions to cybersecurity threats through hands-on learning and collaboration.

Devils Invent is a weekend-long design challenge where students come together to tackle real-world problems with creativity, teamwork and innovation. This round’s theme, The Incredible [Turbo] Machine, invites participants to reimagine engines and power systems of tomorrow. Inspired by the playful ingenuity of chain-reaction contraptions, teams will prototype futuristic solutions that push the boundaries of energy, motion and design.

Show off your trivia skills at this year’s ASU Academic Bowl.
Held from Tuesday, March 25, 2025–Thursday, March 27, 2025, the Academic Bowl is a prestigious quiz bowl tournament pitting teams of students from each ASU college against each other for glory and scholarship money. The Fulton Schools is currently searching for interested participants, with no specific background necessary.

The Class of 2023 did an amazing job decorating mortarboards for the Fall 2023 graduation ceremonies! Our top four were chosen from contest submissions and will receive swag packages.
