The ASU Energy Hackathon is a prototype-first, interdisciplinary hackathon focused on building practical solutions for the energy transition.

Fulton Schools engineering students are invited to the Semiconductor Solutions Challenge 2026: Final Solutions Showcase, where top student teams from Arizona State University, Boise State, Purdue University and Northern Arizona University come together to present innovative solutions to real-world semiconductor challenges.

Devils Invent is a weekend-long design challenge where students come together to tackle real-world problems with creativity, teamwork and innovation. This round’s theme, Fueling Innovation in Aerospace, invites participants to explore the future of intelligent control systems in aviation.

SpaceHACK for Sustainability is back March 27–28, 2026, for its annual two-day hackathon at Hayden Library and online, led by the ASU Library Unit for Data Science and Analytics and ASU Interplanetary Initiative, where ASU students turn satellite data into real solutions for sustainability.

ASU students interested in games, design or play are invited to create a game to strengthen and stretch their technical experience with art, music tools or game engines like Game Maker, Godot or Unity. Learn new skills to add to your portfolio or resume. Whether you’ve had experience with making games or love playing them, all majors and skill levels are welcome!

Apply to participate in the International Cultural and Academic Meeting of Engineering Students, an international academic and cultural project competition held annually in May by the Bogazici University Engineering Society in Istanbul, Turkey.

Devils Invent: Design for Danger asks students to come up with novel ideas for designing for dangerous manufacturing situations, rather than focusing on a safe end product.

World Innovation Network, or WIN, will bring Space Tank, its flagship innovation competition, to the stage as the marquee finale of Arizona Space Congress. Space Tank: Arizona Edition will serve as the high-energy closing session designed to catalyze collaboration and accelerate innovation.
